At Greenies House we love nature (that’s why we’re here!) and believe that not only does it provide us with the best medicines, just experiencing nature in itself can be medicine. That’s why we make it our goal to leave our environment as unadulterated as we found it, and enrich it if possible.
At Greenies House we are:
Natural & organic
We use only gentle, natural cleaning products with minimal scents to reduce any skin or respiratory irritation. We also ensure that these products are environmentally friendly and break down quickly if exposed to the soil.
Low waste
We are committed to being low-waste. We partner with a local recycler, feed kitchen scraps to our cows, and compost all other food waste to be reused later as soil in our gardens.
Local & Sustainable
All food provided is locally-sourced from Boyacá, with much of it coming directly from neighboring farmers and our own gardens, ensuring freshness and reducing travel emissions and the need for preservatives.
Eco-friendly
Our own garden fertilizers and pest control products are homemade from local ingredients and do not include any synthetic or “forever” chemicals.
Any pest control maintenance is performed with animal-friendly, biodegradable products applied by a professional.
