Who We Are
We are Will and Rachel, a couple who moved from Seattle, Washington to Paipa, Colombia to follow our dream of opening Greenie’s House and welcoming guests to the Colombian countryside. A cannapreneur and a writer, we are nature-lovers and creatives who enjoy seeking out new adventures and meeting new people along the way. Greenie’s House is named after one of our dogs, Greenie, and represents the constant joy she has in seeing new people and finding new friends. We strive to welcome anyone who wants to enjoy nature and provide a space that is relaxing, calming, and canna-friendly. Come meet us, Greenie, her sister Robin, and our two cows, Luna and Soli.
Why Greenies House?
We founded Greenies House in 2023 to provide a place where we can invite guests to truly relax, which includes being able to partake in natural medicine without worry during your stay. After visiting Colombia and the Boyacá area several times, we knew it was the perfect location for us to introduce visitors to a beautiful part of the world that is not yet on the radar of many travelers.
Situated in a community of small farms, we use only natural and/or environmentally-friendly products and are working to be as sustainable as possible. We currently have gardens that provide many of our herbs and vegetables and are expanding to eventually grow as close to 100% of our own food as possible. For now, any food provided that we did not grow comes from the local area, much of it from our neighbors.
